“It makes sense to create more safe spaces for young people in the inner city.
The West End 24/7 initiative will potentially save lives and prevent tragedies from happening in Winnipeg. The streets can be dangerous 24 hours a day and there are predators out there seeking their next victim. Unfortunately for our most vulnerable people there aren’t many safe places they can go.
It is incredibly important to support projects like West End 24/7. If we can make our city safer with this initiative it seems like an obvious choice.”
